Safe Passage Overview
Safe Passage helps the children of our program attend school in the areas surronding the dump by assisting with the costs of tuition, uniforms, school supplies, books and transportation to school. In addition, with the support of our own committed Guatemalan teachers and volunteers from around the world, each child in our program receives tutoring and assistance with their homework, as well as the opportunity to take part in fun, creative activities designed to reinforce their knowledge and skills.
Within a safe and caring environment, we provide a comprehensive and integrated program that fosters hope, good health, educational achievement, self-sufficiency, self esteem and confidence
