Mission:
The mission of the Ronald McDonald House of Corpus Christi, is to provide free of charge, lodging for families while their children are receiving medical treatment in a local hospital. The only requirement for the family is that they live more than 50 miles from Corpus Christi. The Ronald McDonald House is a place for families to meet and share their experiences with others who are in similar situations. This is the reason we are called "A Home away from Home". The Ronald McDonald House is known as "The House that Love Built."

I am a Driscoll Children's hospital volunteer. Recently I was asked to assist a new mother staying at ronald McDonald House by helping her get meals from the hospital cafeteria until she could get on her feet and go to the cafeteria alone.
