Mission:
Resolve empowers women most affected by conflict to start their own small businesses, enabling them to reclaim their lives and begin rebuilding their communities by creating, participating in, and perpetuating their own networks of peace.
Results:
In our first year, we've rolled out a first wave of loans to 40 trained seamstresses in DRC; coordinated with UNHCR 2009 Humanitarian of the Year, Rose Mapendo to host a Peace Summit with women in the DRC; and sent the executive director on a fact-finding mission to ensure that our efforts and your support best serve the women we seek to empower.
