Causes: Child Day Care, Children & Youth
Mission: To provide quality early childhood education experiences and services for families in the greater redlands community, coupled with support for families as they develop parenting strategies, skills for independence and self-sufficiency.
Programs: Redlands day nursery, established in 1906, serves children and families in the greater redlands community. The organization provides full day child care services for parents who are employed, actively seeking employment, attending school, medically incapacitated, or are looking for pre-school enrichment for their children. Currently the program serves close to 200 children. Rdn (1)provides child care for children 3 months to 5 years of age. Rdn (2) provides child care for children 2-5 years of age. Both programs provide healthly and balanced meals - breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. The food program is funded through the usda and the california department of education. Rdn offers parent information and training opportunities in the area of health, nutrition and child development to name a few.
