THE PURPOSE OF THE CORPORATION IS FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF AVIATION IN GENERAL: TO ACQUIRE, PRESERVE AND DISSEMINATE VALUABLE INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGE ON THE SUBJECT OF AVIATION THROUGH BOOKS, LECTURES AND PAMPHLETS; TO ACQUIRE, OWN AND MAINTAIN AIRCRAFT, AND TO PROMOTE THE SAFE USE THEREOF; AND TO MAINTAIN A CLUB ROOM FOR USE BY CLUB MEMBERS.
