Programs: Girls in rural India have adult responsibilities—but no authority. Arranged marriages before age 18, and as young as 13, are still common. Discrimination, abuse, and deeply entrenched attitudes combine to deprive them of education, health care, and support.

These certified entrepreneurs train thousands of local organizations todeliver Reach’s life skills education on critical themes of health, livelihoodsand family finance to millions of women and adolescent girls in self-helpgroups to save and find solidarity and solutions to daily problems. Together,these girls and women—daughters and mothers—learn, save and envision a betterfuture.
