RavenStar is a great concept and organization.
Elementary school kids are applying science concepts in a field setting with learned and qualified instructors and counselors.
Our daughter has thrived in the learning environment and social context of the RavenStar program. She will be returning in the Summer 2012!
RavenStar is a wonderful experience for children! I am a presenter with RS, and just being outdoors with the students is exciting! Watching a squirrel with students can be an EVENT!
Our Water Conservation classes are essential for ALL in this severe drought.
Too many people spend most of their time indoors now. New Braunfels is blessed to be home to RavenStar.
I am an elementary teacher, and last year (around March) some of my students entered a contest to learn and present information about ecosystems. I contacted Kelley Clifford with RavenStar to ask for assistance and advice. Ms. Clifford was immediately helpful and an integral part of the completion of our project. She provided us with online resources, contacts that could further our project, and continuous and beneficial email contact and support throughout the project.
I was very pleased with the informative and quick response that I received from the RavenStar team. I am very grateful to know that a company like RavenStar exists for the students and families in New Braunfels.
My kids favorites were making wormeries and the planetarium. The planetarium really helped my son be able to identify constellations in the real sky at night. The wormeries were fun. We also enjoyed looking at the butterflies and moths thru the microscopes.
My Friend's Haus Adult Day Center has had the wonderful privilege of having RavenStar do so many wonderful activities for our clients. One of their favorite visits was when Kelley came and shared the worm compost container with us. They experienced hands on and they were also educated on how we could make our own and the benefits of having a compost pile at your home. I Love what they have brought to our clients and appreciate them and hope to continue to do work together in the future.
