Mission: Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden promotes botany, conservation and horticulture to inspire, inform and educate the public and the scientific community about California's native flora. The Garden is devoted to the collection, cultivation, study and display of native California plants and to graduate training and research in plant systematics and evolution. Through all its programs, the Garden makes significant contributions to the appreciation, enjoyment, understanding and thoughtful utilization of our natural heritage.
Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden (RSABG) is a 40-year-old repository of California native plants, artfully maintained over several acres, and includes teaching facilities and plant propagation and sales. The Garden is the laboratory for the graduate program in Botany at Claremont Graduate School, and is a tremendous resource for the entire community. RSABG effectively educates the public about the beauty and wisdom of native plants as a way to restore and build the ecology of Southern California.
