Mission: Provision international, a world-wide christian ministry of outreach, strives to meet the needs of the earth's less fortunate and downtrodden populace. We are committed to networking resources to serve people in areas of great need.
Programs: Missions trips:on several mission trips, we paid for and built homes in el salvador. It is a huge blessing to give a family a home. To us here in the united states it might only be a 10x20 shed, but to them it is a palace. In santa ana, el salvador, we built a 600-seat church that serves as a place of worship, but also is a feeding center for thousands. It is centered in one of the most gang-infested areas of el salvador and consequently is a place that is a light in a very dark place. We did audiology screenings and fittings for hearing aids in santa ana. Dr. Gene bukowski helped numerous people with their hearing. It was a sight to see; some people could hear clearly for the first time ever. One man said, "i have been praying for years and had all but given up hope; today my prayers were answered. " dr. Bukowski then brought the molds back. The fitted hearing aids made for the people who needed one were delivered in 2015 by dr. Bukowski's staff. One of our greatest highlights was putting on several sports camps. We purchased balls, shirts, cones, bracelets, plus all the food and beverages to make the camps 100% free to all that came. We saw hundreds of lives changed and blessed. Taking a couple of hundred people on mission's trips is one of the operations provision international is most proud of. Whether it was dentist. Eye doctors, general practitioners, construction workers, teachers, laborers, etc. , we all went to change lives . . . But we returned with our own lives forever changed.
shipping:provision international sent vitamins, hygiene kits, hearing aids, shoes, laptop computers, external hard drives, jump drives, scroll saws, first aid kits, medical supplies, medicine, basketballs, soccer balls, t-shirts, bracelets, tools, clothes, and paint supplies to el salvador. Provision international also donated one semi-load of medical equipment and supplies to be sent to various countries around the world.
other missions work:provision international continues to help share god's love on indian reservations in montana. We partner with the mountain crow worship center in bringing god's hope to the crow reservation. In 2014, we had a 15-passenger van donated to provision international. We fixed the van and put on new tires. The van has been a huge blessing taking kids to camps, retreats, and other positive functions they are involved in. Also, the church has used it to help older folks in pryor and for supplies to and from billings. Whether paying for the processing of a buffalo that helps feed the community, paying for teenagers to go to indian youth camp, buying a lawn mower to help maintain their grounds, we are honored and privileged to work alongside such great people! Provision international also helped several widows or single moms with their roofs. In one case, we bought the roofing material and had the ladies son do the work. We love when people take ownership of the project or problem. We focus on getting behind them not them behind us . . . The old adage of "a hand up, not a handout. "no matter where we worked or sent resources to in the world, we were able toshare the love that we have received from our lord with people all over. God has opened up many opportunities for us to help people with physical needs and we do that to the best of our ability. But, god has also blessed us with the opportunities to help many with spiritual needs, too. We go so that as many as possible might know the good news in jesus christ. We will love and help whomever god puts in our path.
