In 2014 paace held its annual conference in state college, pa. The conference provided over 300 participants the opportunity to learn about current techniques and research in the fields of family literacy, english language learning, adult basic and secondary education, technology, and career and college readiness.
paace's investment in government relations focused on 1) educating federal and state legislators and administrative leaders about the importance of adult and family literacy in pennsylvania and its links to both workforce development and supporting the education of children by giving their parents the tools to assist in their education; 2) providing paace members with information about current and pending legislation; and 3) sharing strategies with members on grassroots efforts to advocate for a
paace publishes an annual journal for its members highlighting individuals, current technology, and methods that exemplify the best practices in adult education services. Paace offers a variety of webinars to its members exploring different topics in the adult continuing education and literacy field.
