NORTH OLYMPIC SALMON COALITION Overview
Target demographics: restore, enhance and protect habitat of wild salmon stocks and promote community volunteerism, understanding, cooperation and stewardship of these resources.
Direct beneficiaries per year: foster stewardship through organizing 4,307 hours of volunteer service, serving 1,385 students with hands-on experiential learning opportunities and restored hundreds of salmon habitat.
Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Count Salmon in our local creeks!
