Nicolaysen Art Museum

The Nicolaysen Art Museum and Discovery Center has been an integral part of the Wyoming arts community for over thirty years. From its humble beginnings in 1967, the Nicolaysen has matured into the only regional contemporary art museum in the state. Over 25,000 people visited the Nicolaysen Art Museum last year viewing a variety of visual arts. Of those visitors, 14,000 were children who participated in art classes, museum tours and Discovery Center activities. The Nicolaysen Art Museum strives to provide educational opportunities for Wyoming citizens with respect to the practice, study, culture, and enjoyment of the visual arts.
