This is one of the most pro-active organizations I've ever seen when it comes to defending and protecting women and children from violence and sex trafficking.Being an investigative professional for over 25 years I have had the unfortunate experience of seeing first hand how women and children are exploited and NWCAVE not only teaches, advocates and deters abuse but it also actively changes peoples lives in profound ways.Law Olmstead - Private Investigator
The people are amazing and the most caring group I have ever encountered. The dedication of this group is astounding.
This group has helped with my Gift of lift without their involvement we would not have been able to send 1,000s of bras across the globe, they continue their involvement with assisting with fundraising as well as spreading the word on the importance of the organization, I am so pleased to have become involved with such extraordinary individuals through this group.
Thank you for the kind words!
NW CAVE helps many women locally and around the world. It's run by a group of dedicated volunteers who work hard to collect bras in good condition to donate to women in third world countries to help them support their families.
NWCAVE recently offered support to a youth who had been rescued after several years old sex trafficking. Her family got to see her and know she is safe in a treatment facility. NWCAVE worked with multiple agencies, including the Sheriff's office and The Juvenile Court on this case. NWCAVE's work is critical and necessary.

I first encountered NWCAVE when I attended an event they hosted to learn more about trafficking of teens in my town. Months later, I approached Michelle Bart with an idea I had for a community project to collect gently used bras and redistribute them to women...including trafficking victims. Michelle eagerly set up a meeting with me. Demonstrating expertise and experience, Michelle quickly took my idea and spun it into a full blown campaign. Her confidence and leadership inspired me to seek out more partners. With our partnership now complete, we have successfully kicked off the Gift of Lift Campaign October 1, 2014. We anticipate collecting hundreds of bras to donate to one local and one international organization at the NWCAVE Summit on January 17, 2015. Then we will focus on additional campaigns and continued collection. NWCAVE was a critical element in turning this project, which means quite a bit to me, into a reality.
Robin, thank you for the kind words and collaboration! We are thrilled our paths crossed at the Human Trafficking Task Force Meet & Greet and that we were able to put your visions into action so quickly. We look forward to a continued partnership and together making a difference for women and girls locally and globally!
It's been a pleasure being a part of NWCAVE's Dream...a wold without violence. At our Dinner & Dreams Gala this month hearing trafficked survivor Anji Dean speak about survival and crediting NWCAVE for helping her on this journey makes all we do worth it! Keep up the great work!
NWCAVE was born from passion to save lives, prevent violence and to be a voice for justice, especially for children. Our NWCAVE Missing Persons Division has made huge strides in assisting law enforcement and families in finding missing children. Recently, our partnerships with DSHS, Clark County Prosecutor's office and VPD have enhanced our ability to be a part of saving lives and watching kids get back on their feet.
Our annual conferences, SWCAT, NWCAT and No More Summit continue to bring people from all around the United States and beyond all with a common goal, to end violence in our society. The No More Summit happens this January, learn more at www.nomoresummit.org.
Thank you everyone for your testimonials and support over the years. We are making a difference for women, children and families and with your support we continue making strides in the communities we represent in Washington, Oregon and California and for this we thank you!
Thank you Michelle for your leadership and vision to make the world a better place, free from violence and intolerance. - NWCAVE Board of Directors
When we started NWCAVE we knew we could make a difference, but 5 years later we have even exceeded our vision. We have helped rescue missing kids, collected and distributed over 10, 000 bras to women and girls, have held 4 conferences against violence & exploitation, have presented over 100 times in schools, organizations and businesses, we opened our National Training Institute under direction of Dr. Kathie Mathis and just this year opened our NWCAVE Community Resource Center. We now have offices in Washington, Oregon and California and together with awesome volunteers, we continue trying to make the DREAM a reality...a World Without Violence & Exploitation!
So proud to be a part of an organization that is so dedicated to helping the community and it's members. A great team with a mission to educate and inform others to create a world free of violence.
Thank you Heather, we are thrilled to have you on leadership council and a part of our programs and services including Gift of Lift! Thank you for the support!
NWCAVE is a fantastic organization serving the Northwest in preventing violence and explotation of women and children. They are very professional and intensely dedicated to their cause. Michelle is extremely knowledgeable, and continues to increase that knowledge to keep current and help educate and inform others. This is a partnership helping the community's women, children and their families. We are truly blessed to have them, and Michelle, as a resource, agent and advocate.
Heather, thank you for the review. Your continued support and attendance at our events and trainings are appreciated! Thank you for being a messenger for our organization and thank you for being a voice against violence and human trafficking!
This organization has done so much in our community to fight violence against women. I was proud to support and speak at events supported by this organization and partners. Leaders that reach out to all help make this effort successful.
Thank you Sharon, we so appreciate your support! We look forward to hearing your story of survival at January's No More Summit. Thanks again for the review!
My granddaughter was recently missing and this organization (NWCAVE) namely Michelle Bart was extremely helpful to my daughter and I . Our story ended well but many do not. Thank goodness there are people like Michelle and organizations like this to help people. It is really a helpless feeling and something you just don't have a clue on what to do by yourself. Thanks for being there Michelle.
Thank you for the kinds words Wendy. We are very happy your granddaughter was found safe and that she is getting the support needed to thrive. Thank you again for the support!
This dedicated group of volunteers is unstoppable. They are small but mighty and do so much to help women and girls, at all stages. They provide a critical need, and I am so proud to know them.
Thank you Temple, the feeling is mutual! NWCAVE is blessed that both of organizations could come together to be the best we can for our community. We look forward to our continued partnership!
