Mission:
The mission of the National Road is to preserve, protect and promote the historical aspects along the Historic National Road
Results:
Funded thru grants the NRHC has helped such projects as: Preservation and restoration of the Addison and Searight Toll houses, stabilization and restoration of the "S" Bridge in Washington, PA; refurbishment of Nemacolin Castle; period sidewalks and landscape in Hopwood Village, Marketing Plan implementation, Education tools and programs for schools(Time Capsules); installation of interpretive bronze statues in Addison, Uniontown and Washington, PA; Edutainment event-The Great Debate; annual fundraisers - National Road Frontier Dinner held each year in August; National Road 5K Race in May
