The National Prayer Garden is nothing more than a BLOG and LEGALLY CANNOT solicit or accept ANY charitable donations via its BLOG!

There haven't been ANY NEW POSTS OR COMMENTS at the Prayer Garden's BLOG for 3 months AND IT NO LONGER APPEARS ON FACEBOOK! - that could mean that: (1) it is no longer in operation OR (2) it is reorganizing.

The National Prayer Garden lists its "physical address" as Welcome MD - BUT the "prayer garden" organization does NOT OWN ANY PROPERTY IN WELCOME!

It only has a P.O. Box -- WHO is paying the P.O. BOX rental fee?

-- "Pastor" Kayode Peter portrays himself as a Christian, BUT at the Spokeo people search site, he is listed as a MUSLIM- not that this makes any difference regarding the "Prayer Garden"-- BUT it IS indicative of the many LIES the organization has told, starting with PASTOR PETER HIMSELF!!

~~ WHY IS NPG STILL A TAX-EXEMPT 501(c)(3) with the IRS?

----Shouldn't the IRS be informed that the NPG consists of nothing more than a BLOG???

~~ ~Were any "donations" used to help Edak Eyo and "Pastor" Kayode Peter purchase their $699K house at 6380 Mason Springs Road in Charles County, Maryland? (Maryland Tax Assessment)

~~~Is it possible these funds were provided by "corporate interests" such as:
- Construction Resolutions (owned by NPG's Project Manager, Bill Murray)
- Cleaners of America (owned by NPG's Elder Paul Mederos and Sister Angela Mederos)
- The Faux Group (owned by NPG's Land Planner - Patricia Faux)
- Jim Whitehead (NPG's Civil Engineer) of ATCS PLC
- Kenneth Copeland Ministries
----- Doesn't it appear SUSPICIOUS who these"corporate" supporters are, and WHY they "support" this resort complex???
~~~ Is it possible that NIGERIAN interests/investors are involved??

~~~ IF NPG is still planning to construct its RESORT COMPLEX (under the guise of "religion" ) in the future, NPG would have:
- - to purchase the land (currently priced at OVER $1.5M),
-- get the ZONING CHANGED from the current Agriculture zoning,
--request COUNTY & STATE PUBLIC HEARINGS,
-- obtain the necessary permits from the STATE AND COUNTY,
--UPGRADE the State and County ROADS (MD Rt. 6 & Gunston Road) leading to the location,
--install a sewage treatment plant AND MAINTAIN IT to prevent sewage overflows, AND in the event of a sewage overflow, NPG would be held legally responsible for cleaning up the Nanjemoy Creek.
~~ NPG would ALSO be required to obtain a STATE PERMIT for WATER withdrawals, AND establish an "escrow" account to pay for new wells for residents with private wells in the area who may experience water supply difficulties/shortages because of the THOUSANDS OF GALLONS of groundwater the RESORT COMPLEX would withdraw DAILY for the hotel, lazy river and golf course!!
~~~WHERE WOULD NPG OBTAIN THE MONEY, NOT ONLY TO BUY THE LAND AND BUILD THE RESORT AND UPGRADE THE ROADS LEADING TO IT-- BUT WHERE WOULD IT OBTAIN THE MONEY TO MAINTAIN THE FACILITY, INCLUDING THE SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT?

~~~ Operating as a "religious" 501(c)(3) organization (which is HIGHLY questionable), does NOT EXEMPT IT FROM UPGRADING THE ROADS, OBTAINING THE NECESSARY STATE AND COUNTY PERMITS, OR FROM ADHERING TO STATE AND LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS!!
Ask yourself, does this sound as though it would be an innocent "prayer garden" OR a resort complex that would financially benefit a few interested "investors"??
ISN'T IT INTERESTING THAT NO ONE FROM THE NATIONAL PRAYER GARDEN ORGANIZATION WILL ADDRESS/ANSWER ANY OF THE QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS RAISED HERE?
THE EVIDENCE IS CLEAR --- THE NATIONAL PRAYER GARDEN IS A HOAX AND A SCAM!!
The National Prayer Garden (NPG) held another wonderful tribute service on Sunday 9-11-11 at Camelot in Upper Marlboro, MD. The second annual event was a spiritual delight to the hundreds that were in attendance, which included some family members of 9-11 victims and heroes. The video and music tribute honoring those who lost their lives will always be remembered. On a day that Americans cried and prayed for peace and healing the National Prayer Garden offered a perfect opportunity for Christians of all denominations to fellowship, encourage one another, and praise God for how far he has brought us since 9-11.
I thank God for the NPG ministry and feel assurance that one day all religions will indeed be as one. The music, the message, and the fellowship that was offered by the National Prayer Garden at their 9-11 tribute just ministered to our souls. Many people were blessed with gratis tickets through the ministry and they were so grateful .The school children who performed in the ceremonial portions were encouraged to excell even higher in their lives. The senior citizens who received donated tickets to the elegant event were so grateful and truly blessed... saying that they had never attended anything so professionally presented. Clearly, everyone who attended, including me, were impressed and inspired by the quality in which the event was provided for the public. Once again, the National Prayer Garden Ministry reached out and touched many lives and ministry representatives at their second annual event . They clearly demonstrated that they only want the best for God and whenever the Prayer Garden is built we know that this same standard of excellence shall prevail. In the interim, the prayer vigils, visitations to the sick, and special events like the 9-11 Tribute sponsored in and for the community by NPG are truly making a difference in the family of God. May God continue to bless its founders, ministry members and prayer partners.
Visions are for appointed times and I believe with all my heart that God wants the National Prayer Garden to be built at a time when the world is in desperate need of a supernatural healing! We need a place for worship and fellowship that is nondenominational, nongovernmental, and worthy of his honor and glory. The Bible says that there is one faith, one God, and one Baptism....and I am so inspired to know that man is building the National Prayer Garden on solid rock -- not man's way -- but God's way. One brick and one partner at a time. It's roots will be so deep that it will weather any storm --- a refuge for anyone who is in need of prayer --- and an inspiration to those who need to be revived. Throughout my life I have supported many minitries but none have offered an opportunity to make such a profound and everlasting change in the world. The National Prayer Garden's natural beauty will be eternal and its economic value to the Body of Christ will be priceless. What better way for the church to optimize its limited resources than through collaboration? What better way for the Body of Christ to empower communities with jobs? What better way for the church to help endangered families than by unifying their collective efforts? What community wouldn't be honored to have an annointed program rise from its ashes? Its an honor to give to this project, and to be given the opportunity to support this vision. I pray that God calls and causes millions to bring this vision to pass! If you are a soldier in God's Army then this is your Gideon Moment! If your dreams have ever been deferred... then resurrect them in faith like Joseph! When the Giants keep coming, just stand still like David and see the glory of the Lord! The impossible will become possible! Eyes have not seen what the Lord has in store for his people! He blesses millions of Christians everyday...and I believe he will bless the National Prayer Garden with the partnership of Millions of Christians worldwide! God does not allow man to tear down that which he is building up. Any enemies in opposition shall become footstools!
The prayers and activities of this organization have already help me and my family in many ways. I assure you that the spiritual leadership of the National Prayer Garden Project is annointed and you couldn't find a more credible team of professionals overseeing its operations! Anyone who wants to join the effort or obtain information can do so at the community meetings held each third Saturday of the month.
I have become a monthly partner and will keep donating as long as God enabels me. I received an official acknowledgement for tax purposes and will receive a complimentary ticket to the annual 9-11 Tribute Program.
~ "Esther" says: "whenever the Prayer Garden is built we know that this same standard of excellence shall prevail. "
What does she mean by "whenever the Prayer Garden is built"??
Is this group still planning to build its RESORT in Welcome MD?
If so, WHERE IS THE MONEY COMING FROM? NIGERIAN "investors", CORPORATIONS such as KENNETH COPELAND MINISTRIES or is NPG acting as a "frontman" for Disney??
WHY IS THIS ORGANIZATION STILL A 501(C)(3) WHEN IT IS JUST A BLOG???
IS THE IRS AWARE THAT THIS ORGANIZATION IS JUST A BLOG YET STILL HAS AT LEAST $33,750.00 IN DONATIONS AVAILABLE??
The National Prayer Garden will benefit all denominations of Christianity. It will keep us united.This is a wonderous plan and is clearly from God to let everyone come from all over to worship him. I believe that God will provide all the support needed for this project. He alone will get the job done.
According to the National Center for Charitable Statistics, the National Prayer Garden has ZERO ASSETS & ZERO REVENUE. This organization has a Post Office Box in Welcome, MD, yet it does not own any property and as a Blog it cannot solicit donations.
According to the Maryland Tax Assessment site, Edak Eyo and Kayode Peter own a $699K home located at Mason Springs Road! Where did they acquire this amount of money? Donations to the Prayer Garden or from "fellow Nigerians"????
From the NPG blog:
“We thank God for the corporate donations that have made this possible. Through faith all things are possible”
Just WHO are those “corporate” donors? Construction Resolutions? The Faux Group? Lawrence Abell and Associates? Steve Scott Law Group? Cleaners of America? Kenneth Copeland Ministries?
Why are "corporate donors" even interested in this event, unless they have future "plans" for the RESORT COMPLEX??
YET AGAIN, ANOTHER EXAMPLE of a "Prayer Garden" RESORT supporter who is either UNWILLING OR UNABLE TO ANSWER ANY OF THE QUESTIONS OR ADDRESS THE FACTS...
DOES THE "PRAYER GARDEN" ORGANIZATION HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE?
WILL ANYONE FROM THE PRAYER GARDEN ORGANIZATION ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS?
1. WHO IS PROVIDING THE MONEY FOR THE PRAYER GARDEN TO MAKE THE MONTHLY $100,000.00 PAYMENTS FOR THE LAND??
2. Is the Prayer Garden receiving "donations" from a foreign investor or a televangelist?
3. Since the Project Manager for the Prayer Garden is a LOCAL DEVELOPER who "happens" to live in Charles County, I wonder if there's a "financial incentive" for him personally to insure this resort is built?
4. IS KAYODE PETER REALLY A CHRISTIAN -- OR IS HE A MUSLIM?
5. IS THE "PRAYER GARDEN" A MUSLIM ORGANIZATION DISGUISED AS "CHRISTIAN" so as not to raise "suspicions"?
6. IS THERE A NIGERIAN "CONNECTION"?
If the organization is unable or unwilling to provide answers to these questions, why would anyone donate?
More Feedback
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Reconsider its' plans for what is obviously a commercial business rather than a simple, innocent "Prayer Garden".
This organization has no transparency, no clear agenda and no history of serving their fellow man, Christians, Muslims or any other. A grand "vision" without humble beginnings. Pastor Kayode has defaulted on his mortgage 4 years running. If he can't manage his personal finances, how could he manage the finances to support a Natioinal Prayer Garden. Reminds one of the Reverend Shine and DeeDee situation. Is this resort available to all Christians free of charge? Should we all be able to worship in God's garden and rest in His house or do we have to have a membership first?! Did my God ask me to build an opulent temple to Him or is this a tribute to Pastor Kayode and Lola?! No assets, no revenue, no proof of anything. Donate at your own risk.
Im wondering if:
Pastor's Kayode and Ola Peter = Peter Kayode and LOLA Kayode from nigeria.. ?-- There IS NO National Prayer Garden - Its a "vision" from god, but you sure as hell better talk to the folks that live near this site. and those that would be affected by this RESORT on the Nanjemoy Creek.... BEFORE you claim GOD gave it to you.. -- This is serious development in an AC Zone.. that they have ZERO chance of getting, unless of course, it is gods will...
I would not donate a dime.. without permits, or a special exception being approved by the County.
The National Prayer Garden is a vision of the man and woman of God, Pastor's Kayode and Ola Peter. I have heard of their efforts. Many are skeptical and want to tarnish and diminish these efforts. Now weapon that is fashioned or manufactured spiritually, financially or underhandedly shall prosper. This vision was sent by The Heavenly Messager, The Great I AM, Father God Almighty Himself. This will be a place where all may worship, praise and pray in spirit and in truth. Much love to all involved. Awaiting the opening day, yahoo!
