Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Help in many ways! Foster homeless pigeons or doves, outreach to potential adopters, support humane education efforts, have a garage sale benefit, help with data-entry or website development and more!
Mission:
MickaCoo Pigeon & Dove Rescue saves homeless domestic pigeons and doves in the SF/Bay Area from euthanasia by providing veterinary care, foster and forever homes.
Results:
Last year, MickaCoo placed 333 pigeons & doves in wonderful forever homes. The need continues and we are working hard to provide rescue to the pigeons & doves in seven SF/Bay Area counties.

I have been rescuing, rehabilitating and then giving unreleasable doves a" Forever Home" since 1990. I found out about MickaCoo Pigeon and Dove Rescue through Facebook about six months ago and have been supporting them with financial donations ever since.
