Speaking about MellowSwan Foundation is speaking about Sonia. She believes that with time the organization will be able to help many children around the world who had been born with handicaps and she has been devoting time and countless efforts to the cause. She knows how hard it is to live with a handicap, because she had polio when she was just a toddler, and courageously she learned to put those difficulties to the side and had faced life's challenges with enthusiasm and joy. She has adopted children with congenital problems and has managed to help them adjust to society and live useful, beautiful lives. She has experience, drive, personality and an iron will. She is giving the organization her strength and knowledge.
It is with great pleasure that I recomend the Melloswan Foundation, createt by Sonia Paz Baron Vine. She is a great humanitarian of world class proportion who loves children. Since she had been herself affected by polio, she understands the needs to help the numerous children, no mater their origin or race, to have a chance to receive the proper and necessary medical care they so badley deserve!
I sincerely thank you for your consideration.
Review from Guidestar
We are a international all volunteer, medical charitable non profit foundation.
Our goal is to provide medical care for deformed orphans worldwide.
Our volunteers work around the world researching clinics and doctors who will perform the medical procedures pro bono.
Some volunteers do research on orphanages to seek deformed orphans who need medical care.
Other volunteers contact sponsors to ask for grants to continue our mission.
All volunteers must pass a serious admitting procedure that includes a background check
for a non criminal history, a police report and fill
an application that is presented to the Board of Directors for approval.
