Mission:

Love Never Fails International, Inc. (LNFI) is a non-profit organization that exists to glorify God by providing a “hand up, not a hand out” to at-risk and impoverished children. The primary work of Love Never Fails International (LNFI) is after school mentoring programs known as Love Never Fails After-School (LNFAS). These programs allow elementary and middle school children a safe place to spend their afternoon school hours free of cost for their families. Currently, LNFI operates after school programs in three Fort Worth ISD (FWISD) elementary schools and one middle school. LNFAS serves approximately 60 at-risk children at each site. In order to provide students with the most individualized attention possible, they are divided into small groups of 10-12 students for their daily activities. LNF After-School programs operate four days a week; Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at their elementary school sites; Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and 4:30 to 6:30 pm at their middle school site.

Results:

What is the impact of LNF!? Child poverty costs the nation nearly $500 billion every year. We realize that the statistics are daunting, but an investment in our programs is the start of ending the cycle of poverty in America. No matter what our children may be facing, they are the leaders of tomorrow and their potentials are greater than their circumstances. The 2014-2015 was an incredible year, full of BIG changes for all of our programs. We served over 160 children as a first-year Full-Provider for Fort Worth ISD. The following results are calculated based on the number of children who attended the program at least 70% of the year: • Student Attendance for both campuses was 86% this year – which translates to show that of all students served, 141 students came every day! • LNFI Academic Assessment based on our curricula helped improve students’ scores in science, social studies, reading and math by an overall 13.4%! • 125 total teacher involvement hours • 537 total volunteer mentor hours • Nearly 140 students improved in their conduct grades on their final report cards! Most importantly we saw overwhelming changes in our children. We saw students transform into student body presidents, basketball captains and math-a-letes from angry, secluded and broken children. LNF attests that the development of character is the ultimate measure of success of our programs. We use student assessments, mentor and staff reporting, school discipline records and teacher observations to analyze each child’s behavior enhancement. We know that good conduct reduces high-risk behaviors that strengthen the individual, their school, family and community. LNF will always have a strong focus on character building and mentoring, as this is key to fulfilling our mission: Love Never Fails International exists to glorify God by providing “a hand up, not a hand out” to at-risk and impoverished children through positive, caring relationships and educational support.

Target demographics:

At-risk and impoverished children, ages 8 - 16.

Reviews for Love Never Fails International Inc

I first started going on a missionary trip down to Reynosa, Mexico in 2012 with my church and that was such a blessing and definitely an eye opener. Then this past summer 2015 I had the opportunity to work for LNFI in the after school program st JP Elde middle school and it has been such a great time spending time and growing closer to the kids. LNFI ROCKS!

Working with LNFI has been one of my best work experiences. The staff have a genuine love for the kids, and they always put their best effort into doing what will be best for the students. I worked with the middle school and their character development- the change in their hearts and attitudes, plus the relationships that were formed with the students was incredible to be apart of. The kids have the opportunity to do extra activists such as STEM, soccer, cooking, and flag football as well as doing college preparation, team building activists, kids in action, and blogging over the character trait for the month. This program is amazing and impacts these kids in an amazing way!

You will not find people that love children more than the Love Never Fails staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my time volunteering with the program.

This is an awesome program it is designed to help young children with their homework. There are other activities that the children are involved in reading science, math and cooking, with many more activity that's not included. The staff are awesome they keep the children involved and they challenge their minds. The after school program is a safe place to be and what you can learn from each other.

LNFI is the perfect setting to touch the hearts and minds of at-risk children. I'm a first year program director, yet I've already seen dramatic changes in my kids. The joy is evident when they walk in the room. The children know that they are coming into a safe and loving environment. It is an honor to work with these kids; and being able to tell them how important and exceptional they are is amazing.

This is my first year to work as a Director for Love Never Fails International. It's truly rewarding to see one of our at risk students come into the program, sullen and withdrawn, begin to slowly come out of his or her shell and begin to trust that someone cares about them. With nurturing, love, and support, these kids see improved grades, better social skills, and enjoy school more than they ever have. You can't ask for more than that.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

working with these at risk kids and watching their grades improve and their social skills develop.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I wish we could be in more schools.

I serve as a program director for Love Never Fails International at one of the elemetary schools where we work. I have got to witness firsthand the growth of these children as a result of the mentoring, tutoring, and love they receive each week. It is a deeply rewarding thing to watch a child come out of his or her shell, begin to open up, and blossom right in front of your eyes.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Seeing the grades of these children rise, witnessing firsthand their confidence increase, and knowing that they will have a better chance of succeeding in life.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I know of no changes that need to be made at this time.

I recently saw a video of the orphanage Love Never Fails International sponsors in Reynosa, Mexico. It filled my heart with joy to see the children in classrooms, singing songs, and learning the alphabet. These beautiful children, who were once at the mercy of poverty, the Mexican sex trade, and drug cartels, are now safe. They are receiving three meals a day, medical care, and the education that will rescue them someday. LNFI also has an after school program in Fort Worth Texas that provides mentoring to at risk children. What an organization.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Through the church and donations.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would try to spread the after school programs into more schools. Currently, they are only in three school districts.

It is wonderful to see what an impact Love Never Fails is having in the lives of children. Most of us take for granted that someone loves us and wants to see us be successful. For some of these kids, Love Never Fails is the first time that someone has really and truly taken the time to invest in their lives - the first time someone has taken the time to help them with their homework and encourage them and teach them not just academics but life lessons that will follow them into adulthood. It is incalculable how great an impact love can have. These kids will look back some day and point to Love Never Fails as the turning point in their lives - the point where they started to believe that they are special and important and valuable and loved.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Reynosa, Mexico and the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

expand into more schools and into more areas of Mexico.

LNFI is impacting children's lives every day, both here in Texas and in Reynosa, Mexico. I love receiving their newsletter and reading story after story about how these troubled, at-risk children are literally being transformed into leaders among their peers. It amazes me to see what can happen to a child when he/she receives the love, encouragement, and help they so desperately need. God bless LNFI!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I've heard so many stories of children being transformed through this ministry - it blesses my heart, and I simply love being involved with this organization. It is very obvious the directors and volunteers have a huge heart for at-risk children, and will devote their time, energy, and love to these kids to see them succeed in life.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I pray that more and more people will be led to donate to LNFI, and to serve as volunteers. I'd love to see the after-school programs in more and more schools!
