Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: tutor children in the learning center, participate in the art day with the kids, play sports to keep the kids busy, etc.
Mission:
The Mission of The Youth Center is to transform lives one child at a time through collaborative social, educational and recreational programs. Programs are funded entirely by contributions and modest activity fees. The Youth Center does not receive local, state or federal funding.
Results:
In 2012, over 300 Youth Center volunteers donated over 4,400 hours of service in order to inspire hope in the lives of 650 children.

I have been part of the Every-15-Minutes program since it started at Los Al High in 1999. The passion and commitment I am seeing from this year’s participants will certainly carry forward into their lives as they become ambassadors to the cause of preventing drinking and driving.
