The organization provides cultural, educational, athletic and social programs to the haitian community along with training and education for obtaining citizenship, immigration services, english as a second language and computer classes. The organization also has a youth development program, where it sponsors trips for youths and guest speakers on youth related topics.

I found Konbit Neg Lakay a leader in their field in working with Haitian Americans and other community members. This organizations trains and assists in job hunts, operates afterschool programs, teaches in the native language and English, helps people to become citizens and provides prevention programs. This site in in the midst of great poverty, but is a gem and shining star!
