Kids Cancer Crusade was created in April 2006 in honor of Christi Thomas, a young girl that was battling Neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer. Christi passed away on September 19, 2006 but her legacy lives strong. She had a pure love of life and delighted in bringing smiles to the faces of other children with cancer. Inspired by Christi, we believe no family should go through a child’s cancer diagnosis alone. We strive to live like Christi did, by spreading awareness of pediatric cancers in hopes of one day finding a cure and by offering support to the families affected by it.
Families of children that have or have had cancer until the age of 21 - in any phase of treatment. We welcome families of children that have passed away as well.
Geographic areas served:
Nationwide, including families from outside of the USA but treating in a US facility.

Kids Cancer Crusade has been sending gift packages to my children since shortly after my son's diagnosis of ALL. They go above and beyond to help out these children and I support them 110% To see the smiles they bring to my kids faces when they receive their gifts is such a blessing because as KCC says "Every child's smile is beautiful, but he smile of a child w/ cancer is inspirational!" We have organized a toy drive to help KCC and plan on doing another one very soon. I urge others to show their support for KCC and to help them in any way they can because they are doing wonderful things for these children and are always trying to find other ways to help as well as to spread awareness!!!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the smiles of my child and by talking to other families they have helped.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
do just as they do and help as many kids as possible.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
their drive to help in any way that they can and by always trying to find new ways to help and spread awareness.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
The founder of the organization - Jennifer.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Bring even more smiles to even more children and families of children fighting cancer and probably help the families ever more when they need it the very most!
Ways to make it better...
No need for improvement, they go above and beyond!
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
lack of donations. Though they are doing everything they can to get the word about them and what they do out and I believe it has helped in that department.
One thing I'd also say is that...
This is one organization that I will continue to support and help in any way I can for many years to come!!!
