Programs: House of hope is a not for profit incorporated by the state of florida in 1984. The mission of the organization is to empower martin county residents to overcome hunger and poverty. Project hope is an umbrella of ,care that includes: financial assistance for rent, mortgage, utilites, critical medical expenses and prescriptions; information & referral; health care navigation; basic life skills training and planning; and food pantry services. Total number of individuals that benefited from services=61,842 average number of requests: 8 per individual or family (3 project hope/5 pantry)

the organization operates four thrift stores. The stores are connected to service centers and are strategically located throughout the county to ensure that they are accessible to residents who are transportation disadvantaged. Annually, the thrift stores provide over 200,000 items for free to qualified individuals and families in martin county. Items include: clothing, house wares, furniture and other household necessities. The organization also shares itmes with local agencies serving children
