I am the Executive Director of Isaiah House, located at 238 N. Munn Ave. in East Orange NJ. We are an agency that provides housing to the most vulnerable populations as well as food donations and other support services to people in the community. You may notice that Melissa 76 posted an unflattering review about an Isaiah House, but she has posted on the wrong agency's site. There are several Isaiah House's throughout the country and it appears she is referencing one that is in Kentucky. Not only are we far from Kentucky, we do not offer the same services. We are not a drug/alcohol rehabilitation facility. While I sympathize with her experience, I wanted all to know that she is not speaking about us. Thank you and please consider donating to our worthy agency.

As a mother, I wanted a chance for my son to come to terms with his drug and alcohol addiction. This is not a place that you want your loved one to be at! The Isaiah House takes these men to Kentucky Football games, Nascar Races and Rock Concert Festivals to work. I do not understand how these men are expected to recover when they are taken to these kind of events where there is drugs and alcohol everywhere. This is supposed to be a Christian based organization. I don t understand! I would not recommend the Isaiah House to anyone who is needing to get help with addiction! What the Isaiah House truly cares about is MONEY!!!
