Intermountain Humane Society Overview
Intermountain Humane Society's purpose is to provide animal welfare services in Southwest Jefferson County and Park County. These services include foster homes, adoptions, lost and database services, veterinary care for injured stray pets and wildlife, cruelty investigation, animal care education and education on humane issues. IMHS ensures that no animal in our care is destroyed needlessly. Additionally, IMHS provides assistance in emergency preparedness planning and response on a local and state level. Our long-term goal is the construction of a regional animal sheltering facility.
