To provide meals, rental assistance, utility assistance and affordable housing to underpriviledged families, the elderly, frail and the homebound, along with overall community development in underpriviledged neighborhoods.


Approximately 364 underpriviledged families were provided rental and utility assistance, which is equivalent to approximately 893 individuals. Interfaith neighbors, inc. Has also expanded its support to provide assistance to families facing eviction or homelessness due to emergency situations.

approximately 345,000 meals were prepared, served and delivered to seniors and disabled persons living in monmouth county, nj. The volunteer unit coordinated the activities of over 600 dedicated volunteers working throughout monmouth county, recording over 75,000 hours of annual volunteer service.

homes are being constructed and rehabilitated to provide affordable housing for low income families. The homes are of high quality, indistinguishable from single family, market rate homes. In addition, community based multi-use facilities are being constructed.

the youth corps engages young adults ages 16 - 25 who have dropped out of high school in full-time community service, training, and educational activities. In return for their efforts to restore and strengthen communities, corps members receive educational development in basic skills and preparation to obtain a ged or equivilent, life skills,employability skills and personal and career counseling. Approximately 60 youth are contracted to benefit from the program each year.
