Target demographics: Low-income single parents between the ages of 25-40 enrolled in a 2-4 year college; however if the single parent meets our qualifications and are not within this age bracket we will consider their application.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 10

Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Write blog posts for our blog, hosts one of our training webinars, assist with administration duties, peer mentor our program participants.

Geographic areas served: Gwinnett, Cobb, Fulton, Dekalb, Clayton, and the metro Atlanta community as priority. Some out of state applications accepted on an emergency assistance basis as funding permits.

Programs: Rent & Childcare Assistance, Social Services, and Life-Skills Training.

Mission:
H.O.P.E, Inc's mission is to serve low-income single parents working to obtain a college degree by providing assistance in subsidized housing, child care assistance, social services, and life skills.
Results:
We spent a lot of time fundraising and obtaining partnerships with like-missioned organizations. We have assisted 10 single parent families YTD and have successfully piloted our program.
