I have been involved with this organization close to 20 years. My kids are grown but I believe in the foundation of youth education, athletics and volunteerism make your town a better place. I have been involved in other organizations as coach and volunteer but we have taken this group to the next level. We participate in the leading organizations and associations that promote health, safety and overall proper environments for all children, regardless of their abilities a proper place to participate. Some of our mottos:
The best game in town
We work hard to make this happen, with emotion, sweat and some tears.
We have grown from a local youth program to Goldstar Silver rating over the last few years. We now offer both spring and fall sports including USA Football associated flag, tackle football, competition and local cheerleading, track & field and girls lacrosse. We have produced state and regional champions, and proud of our kids and families. the Hillsborough Jr Raiders also encourage our group to give back to organizations and the community including the recent supporting of a Memorial Day breakfast for local veterans and supporting families in need.
These of just a few of the things that make me proud to be a leader in this organization. I encourage you to stop by one of our activities or contact us to learn more about us.
I've volunteered and been involved with several youth sports groups over the years with girls and boys. This group goes out of their way to be part of the community, not just a pay for play experience. The leadership has spent countless hours reshaping the organization into a near model organization. They are transparent to a fault at times and are taking a no nonsense approach while providing a safe and sane place for all in youth sports.
I've been involved with many organizations, but it is this one that always rises above all others. The Jr. Raiders organization is devoted to building self-esteem and character in the children that participate in it's program. My daughter participated as a cheerleader since age 5 and excelled in the program through eighth grade. I attribute her developing strong dedication and perseverance to this program. Although she graduated from the program 2 years ago, I continue to devote many weekends to the program because I believe in it.
