Harvest Youth Ministries is a great ministry that reaches out to young people in Dayton, OH. I have known Kilby since he was a youth leader in my church and and have supported his ministry financially for many years. I have long since moved away from the Dayton area, but still continue to support this ministry because I think it is very important what they are trying to do. It is critical that young people have a safe place where they won't be judged and are loved just for who they are. This ministry has positively impacted countless young people in the Dayton area.

Harvest Youth Ministries is definitely a five star site. Pastor Jim has literally kept my life in check with his daily email devotionals. His messages, his realness, his personal connection with the readers are unbelievable. It's like he hits all the notes someone deals in life, from the highs to the lows, and he doesn't sugar coat anything. And the fact that we can email him with our own issues, and he really emails back, is really hard to find in cyber space. Believe me, I've looked for other online spiritual guides, but none are quite like what I've grown used to with Pastor Jim over the years. I believe Harvest Youth Ministries touches many lives, and his daily emails are detrimental to the choices young readers make everyday. For that, I am thankful.

I met Jim Kilby several years ago on the internet when he responded to a cry for prayer to save my marriage. Jim sent me several encouraging messages and I'm pleased to report my marriage was healed and restored. I've been blessed so many, many, times from his daily devotionals, and his spirit filled faith. I pray blessings over Jim and his family, and this ministry!

I use to volunteer at The Attic and I worked at the Thrift Store too , so it was very rewarding see how much love and care is involved in everything the staff do. I saw very young and disoriented people find the way to the Lord and grow in the knowledge of His Word and the only thing I don't like is to be so far away in Michigan state and not be able to enjoy that kind of love in action . But anyways I feel part of it through prayer and I know the Lord has a purpose for every thing we go through, so , no matter how hard the finances go , no matter anything the enemy does to damage so amazing job. the Ministry will go on , just because : "If God is with you , who against you? " I thank you from the bottom of my heart for every thing you do. Big hugs. Lourdes.

The contact that I've had with Pastor Jim Kilby has been through his devotional. He is a devoted and caring individual who has given his life to getting God's truths to those young people who otherwise wouldn't hear it, and bringing it to them in their territory and at their level. I so much appreciate this ministry, and feel it is greatly needed. This is an incredible organization that does so much good for those needing it. God Bless Pastor Jim Kilby, his family, and his mission! I know that he is greatly Blessing those he serves!

I have been recieving Harvest Youth Ministries devotional for over a year now and it has really helped draw me closer to God and shape me into who I am now. All the devotionals seem to relate to something in my life either at the time I recieve them, or I am able to apply what I have read to my life later on when something comes up. Pastor Jim, who writes the devotionals, is very faithful to God and to keeping up with writing them and has been able to reach out to so many students because of it. What I probably love most is that if I ever have a question, prayer request, etc. I can simply reply to the devotional and Pastor Jim gets right back to me usually less than 2 days later. Harvest Youth Ministries is doing great things for this world!

Hi, My name is Jamie and this is my story. I was really struggling in my walk with God, so I decided to go online to see if I could find anything to help me. I was so desperate for the answers to my struggles. That's when I came across harvest youth ministries. I checked out the website and did a double take when I read that Pastor Jim said "I personally respond to all my e-mails." Having been let down by so many people who called themselves "leaders" in the church, I was very skeptical. So I e-mailed him to see if he really did respond. To my surprise he did very quickly (might I add). I have known Pastor Jim for a little over 7 years and every time, I mean every time I needed advice or someone to pray for me he was and still is always there for me. He has helped through so much and for that I am ever grateful. He has touched so many lives, including mine and I will never be the same. I don't believe that it was an accident that I stumbled upon this ministry. I believe it was a God ordained thing and that Pastor Jim was put on this earth "for such a time as this."

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

My walk with God and how to not take life for granted. Everything that happens happens for a reason.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Not change anything...God has this organization right where He needs them to be.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The genuine care and love that everyone has had for these youth who come seeking answers when everyone else has let them down.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Kind, caring, and very devoted to the cause of preaching the Gospel.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Do so many things, but I guarantee the first thing they would do is pray about how to best utilize this gift that God has given them so that the maximum result will be achieved.

Ways to make it better...

I can honestly say that I have not had one bad experience with this organization. Every one has been so kind to me and really helped me.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Funding...they have the youth and they have resources to spread the gospel, but without funding it can make times really difficult.

One thing I'd also say is that...

God has blessed this ministry and has given Pastor Jim a vision and I believe with everything I have that God will have His way with this ministry and the dream and vision will come to pass in the way God has intended for it to be.
