As a technical advisor to GYOM, I am very impressed with the goals and direction of the organization. The goal of education in sustainable local food production is a noble one, and one that we all should learn more about and practice as consumers.
Producing food locally and efficiently is the wave of the future. If you have an interest in aquaponics and aquaculture, I urge you to join GYOM and support sustainable food production. These are bright and motivated people with a passion for our future well-being and success.
I am Founder with Marion Murphy for the “Grow Your Own Meal (GYOM)” and serving as a Board Member to help the mission of the project for sustainable local food production system. The triple bottom line of environmental, social and economic opportunity is in the DNA of GYOM sustainability model. Integrated aquaculture and hydroponic system of production technology under GYOM will address the recycling and reuse of limited natural resources (water, energy), help in secure and safe food production and provide an economic opportunity for the new food enterprise through a sound and sustainable ROI. The GYOM is all about business for good and provide education, awareness and an environmentally sustainable co-existence for communities around food, energy and water. I’ll strongly recommend all who cares about this planet, food security and safety; please stay in contact with Grow Your Own Meal Inc.
I have been a Board Member of Grow Your Own Meal for the better part of a year now and am unequivocally impressed by it's mission, environmental focus, and drive to create a sustainable agribusiness to more efficiently meet food production needs and educate the public on better ways of producing food. It is a very progressive and flexible organization and has evolved into a wonderful concept of developing manufactured food production facilities that will revolutionize the way we grow our food. I am honored to be a part of such a noble organization and am very excited about the direction GYOM is headed. I highly recommend anyone to get a better idea of what GYOM is about.
I recently joined Grow Your Own Meal as a Board member and was instantly impressed by the depth and contribution being provided at the Board Level. The value of the program's product will provide its clients with an integrated and self contained source of organically grown nutrients through combining the principles of aquaponics and hydroponics. The environmental impact is reduced to almost zero since its power is sourced through solar energy. The water is almost completely recycled. Once operational the revenues generated through the sale of both fish production and organic vegetables will offer a strong investment return as well. An impressive program that addresses multiple issues in an environmentally conscious civilization.
