Mission:
Grassroots Gardens of Buffalo is a community gardening program in Western New York working with the public and private sectors to create vegetable and flower gardens. Through education and active participation, we foster, initiate, implement and support sustainable gardening projects at the grassroots level.

An amazing organization that does a great deal of work on a shoestring budget. I think that this group could use a better relationship with the city goverment, but all in all does an amazing job for what it does... more »

Grassroots Gardens of Buffalo is transforming the city from the ground up. Community building, oxygenating the city, helping city dwellers experience the miracle of growing a garden, making the inner city beautiful... it's an amazing organization and has my vote... more »
