Target demographics: Gow is comprised of two distinct programs. The first is a college preparatory boarding school for 137 young men in grades 7-12. The second is a coed five week summer program. Both programs emphasize academic preparation with small classes and individualized attention. In addition, Gow offers a strong athletic program, and a powerful arts and academic curriculum. 100% of graduates are accepted to college. Currently Gow students are from 22 countries and 28 states.

Programs: The Gow School program consists of three components: a boarding school program which educates 143 young men grades 7-12 from around the world; a five week summer camp program for 120 boys and girls ages 8-16 and a summer Teacher Training Institute which educates teachers to better identify and remediate dyslexic students.

Mission:
The primary mission of The Gow School is the education of young men, grades 7-12, using a college preparatory curriculum with emphasis on the remediation of dyslexia through Reconstructive Language in an independent, not-for-profit boarding school.

my son was a student at this school. their lack of adequate supervision led to his developing a drug problem. ultimately he was ostracized by the school officials and i was treated with a total lack of respect, especially by the arrogant headmaster, who accused my then 14 year old son of being a ... more »

This is the second year that my son has attended the Gow summer program and as expected it was wonderful. He had been applying some of what he has learned during the summer to his current school and it seems to be helping. He is planning on attending again next year.
