Go4theGoal is a 501(c)3 Pediatric Cancer Foundation dedicated to providing the necessary resources patients and families need to battle a child’s cancer. Go4theGoal offers financial assistance, grants special wishes, gives high-end electronics to children in treatment, and funds hospital based support programs. Since its inception in 2006, Go4theGoal has also granted nearly $1,000,000 to innovative researchers looking for cures. Through its two national campaigns, National Dress 4 Pediatric Cancer Day and Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer, Go4theGoal strives to bring communities together to raise awareness and support for local children battling cancer.
Go4theGoal now supports over 80 hospitals across the country, providing financial assistance to families, granting special wishes, and providing electronics to children to help them remain entertained and distracted during painful procedures and long periods of hospitalizations. Go4theGoal also provides hospitals with grants to support renovations of in-patient rooms, media rooms, survivor day parties, and bereavement ceremonies. Since its inception, Go4theGoal has also awarded nearly $1,000,000.00 in research grants.

My 12 year old nephew is a cancer survivor and I couldn't think of a better cause to be a part of. My son plays soccer for North Olmsted High School and being able to have the boys show their support while raising money was a win/win. I am on the board for FCProvidence Soccer Club in PA. We decided to support Pediatric Awareness Month in September. I found Go 4 the Goal by searching for the gold sock with the gold ribbon.
