GBBMI is a cohesive organization dedicated to raising the physical, educational, and spiritual condition of the Banjara tribe of India. Last July, I was asked to join the Board with the specific assignment of raising funds for a new school through a scholarship program. The Aletheia Banjara School is now in operation with 218 primary children attending. More scholarships are needed in order to sustain and expand this important project. These children are becoming aware that they are blessed by God; this school is obviously the best thing going for miles around, and it testifies mightily to the love of our Savior for the Banjara people. Pray with us that they learn to love Him in return.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Hyderabad and Andrha Pradesh. The light of Christ is shining from among the Banjara Christians into the darkness of Hindu India.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would resign in favor of Srinivas Naik and Doug Matthews, our current leaders.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The board members work cheerfully and tirelessly. Srinivas Naik is amazing. His energy and dedication to reaching his people for Christ are inspirational. If you have a chance to meet him, take advantage of it.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

In India, Srinivas has a lovely wife, a competent nephew, and other family members that work hard to support this mission. The love among them and coming from them is a joy to share.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

We would like to help the Banjara mission become self-supporting by funding an agricultural proposal. This would feed the school children, educate the locals about superior farming methods, and raise funds for the Lord's work.

Ways to make it better...

My experience in India would have been better if I had had more time to recover from jet-lag. I wish I had more time to spend at the school. The children are beautiful and were so excited to have visitors from America.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

The biggest challenge we have is the enemy, who is deeply entrenched in India. Much prayer is needed for the protection of the saints. India is tightening its fist against Christ; we might not have much time left to assist the saints.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Please let us know if you'd like to join us. It's a joy to work for our Lord alongside these vibrant co-laborers.

GBBM International is a great organization. We have rasied over $165,000 to underwrite ministry with the Bamjara's in India in the last two years. We are pleased to have had the opportunity to build and support the staff ands students of a new school in addition ot other meaningful outreach ministries.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

In the many lives touched. Also they have many people who come to a new faith and acceptance of Christ and God in their lives. There are many opportunities to help increase these results with your support in prayer, financially, and through mission work

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I belong now, but would encourage anyone reading this to also join with me in the efforts of the Banjaras.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The incredible experience with the people involved who are so committed and loving.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Exceptionally dedicated, tireless, and relentness with their efforts to help others.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Reach at least that many people in India. There about 40 million Banjara's in India alone. They need hospitals, education centers, agriculture industry improvement and ministry centers. We are doing one at a time as resources and staffing are availabl

Ways to make it better...

The best way to increase the experiene and results is to become a part of the support for this ministry.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

There are so many needs in this group due to the lack of interest in helping them from the Indian government.

One thing I'd also say is that...

The leader of this ministry in India comes to the US annually and is available for speaking and sharing about the ministry.
