Reviews for Give Kids A Smile Inc
In the spring of 2002, a few community oriented dental professionals with the dedication of a multitude of volunteers and supporters in St. Louis, Missouri launched the first Give Kids a Smile (GKAS) event to provide underserved children with free, comprehensive dental care, including examinations, professional cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, restorations, oral surgery and x-rays. Give Kids A Smile – St. Louis is a not-for-profit which continues working to eliminate the silent epidemic of dental disease for the millions of children who cannot sleep, eat properly, pay attention in school, or simply smile. Since it began almost 10,000 children have received over $4.5 million dollars worth of dental care.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
seeing thousands of children receive much needed dental care. They no longer have to suffer and can now eat properly, pay attention in school, and have improved self-esteem.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
try to help them get more funding so they can expand.
