Friends Of the West Coast Clock & Watch Museum, is a dedicated group, Their function is to assist and aid the museum in fielding exhibits, supply funds for unexpected and continuing expenses and constantly work to improve and broaden the scope of the Museum. Long term goal is to find a permanent home for the Muesum, perhaps more centrally located in it's field of membership

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Watching the Muesum grow, in obtaining loaned exhibits, and seeing the support group maintain interest in the Arts.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Try for more public participation, additional fund raisers and work to more widely publicise the Museum

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The overall feeling of accomplishment by the group.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Dedicated but sometimes inexperienced in fund raising.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Obtain a permanent home for the musuem, also fiueld an endowment fund to assure its future.

Ways to make it better...

We had a more broad support base.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

The current economic situation, the over all lack of expendable funds on the part of the giving public.

One thing I'd also say is that...

The clock and watch industry seldom gets the credit it deserves in bringing on the Industrial age in America.Much of the manufacturing technology that has made the US a manufacturing powerhouse came from the early Horologists of New England.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
