Promote public interest in central ms residential center; assist families in obtaining a better understanding of the policies and procedures of the center; promote understanding of mental health and the needs of the mentally ill; encourage support for central ms residential center from civic groups, churches, and individuals in the areas served by central ms residential center; raise funds for projects at central ms residential center that will improve the quality of life for the clients and provide recognition and support for employees.


Transitional mental health services: sponsored client field trips and special activities/events as part of improving the quality of life for clients; purchased christmas gifts for clients, clothing and personal items for indigent clients; sponsored several clients parties and banquets to allow them to celebrate holidays and special occasions as they would in the community; sponsored client community council; provided an avenue to the community for clients to sell artwork and pottery made in their art program (proceeds from sales were passed on to respective clients); sponsored client of the month/year recognition program to recognize clients for their accomplishments and achievements. (137 clients)
