Mission: The mission of the Conklin Center is to help adults and children who are blind and additionally disabled lead independent, productive and dignified lives. Our purpose is to reduce or eliminate dependence on institutional or home-bound care and prepare those we serve with the living and working skills needed to exercise maximum choice in their lives and participate in and enrich the community.

Florida Lions Conklin Centers for the Blind has received accreditation from the National Accreditation Council for Blind and Low Vision Services (NAC). NAC is the only accrediting body that solely focuses on standards and best practices for blind and low vision services with the consumer in mind.
