As both a driver and packer for Meals On Wheels in Mansfield, I have seen first hand their quality of food, depth of organization and strength of caring for the community. Giving just a few hours of my time for two days a week has confirmed there is a need to touch these lives with food and fortitude through an organization based on nutrition and kindness. Betty Fry

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my weekly packing and delivering of meals. Each delivery situation is different due to the personal situation of the individual but the overall result is one of thanksgiving.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The satisfaction of knowing there is a very basic need most of us take for granted and it is being provided with great attention to detail, care and dignity.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

All very dedicated, caring, helpful and organized to be an efficient part of each recipients' lives.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

make the best use of the funds with its continued desired to feed those having a need. The need seems to increase daily.

Following in my Mother's footsteps of giving back to the community, I sought out MOW for the importance we all place on a good meal each day. Being a driver allows interaction with the community by delivering hope through a hug and smile. It taught my children and grandchildren to serve others. We also visit and entertain at assisted living and rest home facilities.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the opportunity to serve others.

I've been a parttime volunteer for MOW of Tarrant County. MOW's meets the needs of members of our community. They work tirelessly each day to bring food to those in need. I am proud to play a small part in their success
