El Cajon Art Association, Inc.
Mission:
The primary goal of the East County Art Association is to provide art and cultural education to a formerly blighted community in East San Diego County. A great deal of ECAA's efforts and resources are spent on providing art exhibits, shows, and gallery openings to the public. Children's workshops in all media are offered to the public in the Gallery and Professional artists conduts workshops on an on-going basis. Original works of art are displayed and offered for sale in the gallery. Members participate in Revitalized Downtown activities on a regular basis, including volunteering to help public offices conduct programs for the city, such as car shows, outdoor concerts, fund-raising events and street fairs. Many volunteers participate in committees to design the plan for a new downtown district.
