To provide a dynamic educational, social, recreational, and cultural environment for residential and commuter students, faculty, administrators, and the community.


Facilities operations & leasing: the loker student unions, inc. Operates a 120,000 square foot facility which houses various centers that support the student experience at csudh, including a ballroom and meeting rooms. When the ballroom and meeting rooms are not in use, they are offered to the surrounding community (for a fee). During the 2013-14 year, 2,674 events were held with more than 160,414 people in attendance. Furthermore, through a contractual agreement with the university, student fees collected by the university on behalf of the student union are used to service the debt incurred to finance construction of the loker student union building.

student programs and events: through its program board, toro productions, the loker student union, inc. Provides a socially engaging array of programs and events for csudh students. These events usually fit into four series: on-the road, novelty and variety, film & lecture, and music & culture. Additionally, through program partners on campus, toro productions provides support to campus wide programs such as welcome week, toro days, homecoming and unity fest, and co-sponsors events with academic departments as well as our student life partners. During the 2013-2014 year, toro productions sponsored or co-sponsored 108 events with a total attendance of 17,698 students.
