Programs: Crestone charter school is in the third year implementing proficiency and standard based learning. Curricula have been aligned verticlly in order to create an accountability platform for proficiency and standard based learning. Learning targets have been developed for crestone charter school's core values for life skills, artistic skills, outdoor and awareness for body and environment have been developed. Crestone charter school continues to have an active travel program. This year, students will travel to the midwest, kansas, new mexico, and arizona. Crestone charter school's main outdoor program is the grades 4 to 12 ski and snowboard program which has been revised to meet more core value learning targets and to be safer.
