Mission:
CASA of Contra Costa County is a 501c3, nonprofit organization formed in 1981 to provide highly trained community volunteers to advocate for the needs of abused and neglected children and assist the juvenile court in making timely and more informed decisions that are in the best interests of these children. Since 1981, CASA has served as a unique and cost-effective way to ensure that these children are not exposed to further domestic violence by providing access to needed health, education, and therapeutic services.

I have been a supporter of Contra Costa County CASA for about 10+ years. I can tell you that the children that are served by this organization are the lucky ones in the foster care system. They have experienced the worst of abuse and abandonment and are selected by the judges to have a CASA ...
