Words cannot explain what this club has done for my little sister Amaris. She ran with this club for three seasons. The knowlegde and expertise she gained through the coaching that was implemented through Coach Joel and Coach Sonja was unparralled to any other track clubs in the area of the inland empire. Unlike other clubs, Coach Sonja and Coach Joel teach from a level of experience and first hand knowlegde. Having been athletes them selves, World known athletes even, they were able to govern and illustrate a track program which benefited the participants at a substantial level. Seeing her run year after year and drop her times at nearly every meet was shocking. She literally started off as one of the slowest contestants in the whole region and within a year had proved to be a threat. I will recommend this club to anyone. The Corona Golden Elite Club is the Diamond in the Ruff of the Inland Empire. It is Corona's best kept secret.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Substantial ways, if you want your athlete to get stronger, faster, and have a since of integrity when competing. This is the club for you.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Ask for more Parental Support. And Funding, the club is a non-profit. And like all non-profits. It needs funding.

Will you volunteer or donate to this organization?

Definitely

The Corona Golden Elite Track Club), founded by Coach Sonja and Joel after the death of their dear friend and coach Benjamin (Bennie Brown of UCLA) Bennie coach Sonja in the 800 Meters through 1992. Although she was injured during the Olympic Trials she gave it her all at the Trials on the way to Spain. After the birth of her first child Sonja contact Bennie to go back into training only to find out that he was recently in an accident on the way to pick up his son Cameron from day care. Sonja and Joel Traveled to San Francisco where their close friend was laid to rest in a Paradise filled with green rolling hills and Butterflies. The coaching Tourch was then passed on to Sonja and Joel former collegic Track Athletes and Parents with the most important job to teach children character-building life lessons through sports and Academic. Done right, youth sports teaches children from grade school through high school incomparable lessons in leadership, handling adversity, teamwork, persistence and compassion. Corona Golden Elite Track and Field is in it’s 9th year as Corona’s development Track and Field youth sports running development and agility training program.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

a coaching position.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Demand that the parents enjoy their children and not live through them!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Developing the area children, mentoring and enjoying their success in many different sports and celebrating the College success!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Very supportive

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Create mentoring programs, to assist at risk children and a new facilities for training as we are loosing grounds to Football and and other sports.

Ways to make it better...

The club had more resources and parents support.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Training Facilities and Funding to rent the track for usage.

One thing I'd also say is that...

If not you then who?
