Target demographics: Low income children and families in San Jose & Guanacaste Costa Rica. We also see a very high percentage of refugees and immigrant families.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Young children, adolescents, and family units.
Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: In the US - a person could run a collection drive for new toothbrushes and toothpaste that we can distribute to our kids that receive dental cleanings. This is a great project for scout groups, PTO's and/or church groups.

Mission:
Children Without Borders is a non-profit organization that provides life saving medical care to children and preventative health education for children and families in under served countries.
Results:
We successfully opened a second clinic in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica, which is a rural area that had very little access to primary health care.

I went with Children Without Borders to Costa Rica a few years ago, and it was truly a rewarding experience. Children Without Borders is now in its 4th year and is really taking off, especially in Costa Rica.
