Central Dakota Humane Society Overview
CDHS was established in 1960 to address concerns of animal lovers related to issues of abuse/neglect, overpopulation, and a myriad of other problems. In 1994, a "no-kill" shelter was opened to house and provide care for abused/neglected, abandoned, and/or lost animals. Loving homes are found for these animals. CDHS staff and volunteers attend many community events to educate the public on animal issues and are available upon request for educational presentations.
