I have been a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Stark and Carroll Counties for more than 8 years

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

leading groups of volunteers and future Habitat home owners in the construction of new houses people can afford .

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

make sure that everyone in the community was made aware of the great work Habitat is doing to help people become home owners and better citizens. The Habitat staff and volunteers constantly strive to exhibit the actions and characteristics taught by Jesus Christ. These are the principles that Habitat for Humanity was founded on.

I've learned many new skills and made life long friends as a result of my volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity.

My life has been enriched over and over by seeing hundreds of people come together to improve the lives of perfect strangers.
