California Canine Academy Assistance Dogs Overview
By learning how to train and communicate with dogs, at-risk teens will attend 26 week program learning skills such as anger management, empathy, responsibility, parenting skills, community involvement. The service dog will than be placed with a physically or mentally challenged individual.
