Recognizing the fundamental rights of all children, we empower families and communities to make real and lasting changes in the lives of orphans and at-risk children through international special needs adoption grants and humanitarian initiatives.

As of April 1st, 2014, Brittany's Hope has helped united 667 special children from around the world with loving families in the United States. Every year, our Orphan Care programs nourish, clothe, shelter and educate over 1,400 children and provide them with the fundamentals that break the cycle of poverty and grants them control of their own future.

Target demographics:

abandoned children live healthy and happy lives.

Direct beneficiaries per year:

102 special children come home to loving families and thousands more by providing food, clean water, shelter, clothing and an education

Geographic areas served:

Viet Nam, Ethiopia, Kenya and around the world

Brittany's Hope Foundation recognizes that for every child who finds a loving family, there are many more who are left behind. Brittany's Hope works to improve the quality of life for those children. We build and repair orphanages and living centers worldwide. We develop and implement nutrition programs to deliver protein-rich food to undernourished children. We provide livestock and crop plantings to initiate far-reaching self-sustainable efforts within impoverished orphanages. Our Brittany's Cribs project provides cribs for children who spend their days in broken cribs without mattresses or blankets. The Emily Cane Project gives canes, mobility instruction, and independence to the blind. By providing an education, through college or vocational school, we break the cycle of poverty and empower young adults to take control of their own future. Our work is possible because of generous personal and corporate donations.

Reviews for Brittany's Hope Foundation

We received a matching grant from Brittany's Hope in 2016. This foundation was very helpful and easy to work with. Our raised funds were distributed to us in a timely manner and we were able to travel to China to bring home our son with these funds. Without the help of Brittany's Hope and their generous grant program, we wouldn't of been able to go to our son as quickly as we did. We will forever be thankful and grateful for the generosity and steadfast support from Brittany's Hope. Our son, Theo is now home and getting proper medical care. He is thriving and attaching to our family. We would of missed out on such an awesome experience if we wouldn't of taken such a huge leap of faith. We thank God for our son and for opening the hearts of so many people who donate to Brittany's Hope Foundation in order for families like ours to adopt. Thank you again! Our hearts are full!

Our family adopted our son in 2007 from Vietnam, and very much wanted to add to our family again through adoption. Sadly, the U.S. stopped adoptions from Vietnam in 2008 due to corruption and child trafficking concerns. While we attempted several other adoption options, we felt strongly led wait for Vietnam to reopen to U.S. adoptions so our 4th child would share our son's birth country and ethnic heritage. So we waited 6 long years for adoptions to reopen. In 2014 when we got the news that Vietnam had chosen to open a small, pilot program for special needs children, we were overjoyed and started the process immediately. We were the first family to have our paperwork submitted to the Vietnamese government! We received the referral of 7 month old Linh Khanh Ho in Febrary of 2015. Unfortunately, because of Hague regulations and being a new process, we waited a year and a half after seeing our daughters face of excruciating delays and unknowns, at one point even being told the process might not being completed, until we were able to travel to being our daughter home.
While we were incredibly grateful for the financial support that the seedling grant from Brittany's Hope provided, what was amazing and truly an answer to prayer was the constant support and prayer that Brittany's Hope was to our family through the long and difficult wait. They regularly checked in with us, asked where the process was, and offered counsel and prayers. They even provided in-country support when we visited our 9 year old son's orphanage and spent time in the city of his birth!
We have had the amazing opportunity to learn more about all the different kinds of work that Brittany's Hope does around the world, specifically in Vietnam. While we don't know if we will be adding to our family through adoption again, we do know that we will be working with Brittany's Hope through all of their amazing programs.
We are so grateful for Brittany's Hope, for their vision, passion and leadership in the area of caring for children around the world!

Thank you, THANK YOU to Brittany's Hope.
With all the other paperwork and things to do for our adoption, this was an easy process, and had such a huge impact. We are so grateful for the encouragement and love we also received along with our grant. So priceless.
We didn't know how we were going to financially meet the needs we had to bring our daughter home, and this grant helped us meet those final needs and lift that burden completely off our shoulders so we could focus on the things we needed to.
Brittany's Hope will forever have a special part in our adoption. THANK YOU.

This grant was instrumental in helping us complete our adoption. Some of our donors had some technical difficulties with donating via the web site but those were worked out. The hardest thing for us was the timing of the grant fund raising. Our fund raising time was from date of referral until we traveled to pick up our daughter, just shy of 4 month. The amount of time was not the difficulty as mush as the time of year (summer). We had to cancel several of our planned fundraisers either because of venue use issues (May, June and July are very popular wedding months) or because vacations and family reunions had too many friends and family out of town. Fortunately, we had received several pre-fundraising commitments around Christmas time from friends and family and that really helped us to raise more than our goal.

Our family is beyond thankful for the support we received from Brittany's Hope Foundation. Their ministry was instrumental in allowing us to bring our 4 1/2 year old son home from China. They not only blessed us financially, but with great encouragement during a weary time of waiting. Our experience with their ministry is nothing but positive. It is with grateful hearts that we can fully recommend Brittany's Hope Foundation

Adoption was always a day we had long dreamed of but never knew how we could afford such an endeavor. We are so grateful for Brittany's Hope Foundation! They came in at the end and helped us finish our fundraising efforts when we had exhausted all of our resources. Brittany's Hope made it possible for us to keep within our efforts to stay debt free and enjoy the journey of adoption and not get lost in all of the financial woes. We will always remember Brittany's Hope Foundation because of the impact they had on our family and bringing our sweet Matthew home. We are in love......

We were told about Brittany's Hope from our adoption agency. We found Brittany's Hope staff to be very informative and helpful when we had questions and when we wanted to see our fundraising progress in a very timely manner. Thank you for the grant you gave us, our beautiful daughter is now home and thriving. She is thrilled to have 3 brother, 3 sisters. Our youngest daughters,Grace and Olivia knew each other in China, they were in the same foster home (Bethel China a foster home for blind children) and were very close friends there. Now they are home and are forever sisters! Here is a picture of Grace on the left and Olivia they are dancing at their sisters wedding and were also the flower girls in the wedding!

Brittany's Hope Foundation offered a wonderful experience during our adoption process. It was really special to partner with other families who were adopting in "paying it forward" with our matching funds. Our friends and family who donated found it very easy to use the website for donations and also appreciated that they were able to receive a tax deductible receipt, and help others as well as our family/children. As questions or concerns arose throughout the entire LENGTHY process of our adoption, Brittany's Hope staff were always incredibly courteous, understanding, and quick to respond.

Brittany's Hope was a wonderful organization to work with. There were many adoption grant foundations we applied to, and many we never heard back from. However, Brittany's Hope exceeded our expectations in communicating with us. We were so incredibly blessed by their adoption grant. Both of our children have special needs and our medical bills last year were enormous. Had it not been for Brittany's Hope, it would've been difficult to have all of the finances to finalize our adoption. We are so grateful. And Paula, you were a joy to work with!
