Mission: Inform and support people affected by traumatic brain injury. Prevent brain injury through public education and legislative action.
Programs: Maintain a 24/7 phone (voicemail) service for all calls and respond within 36 hours. Also staff a business manager tuesdays and thursdays, 10 am to 3 pm, to answer phone calls and to receive and help those who walk in and refer all emergencies to proper persons of the bia/wv. Provide written info, pamphlets, and brochures to all that request them on all brain injury subject matters.
work hand-in-hand with veterans and veteran organizations to provide assistance where needed and assist health organizations and hospitals with info they request.
sponsor and annual brain injury conference, to indclude distinguished speakers from various medical fields, in order to learn of the newest medical info.
