Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Help with office work. Copy and mailing. We also need help at our competitions with scoring and timing, as all competitions are run by volunteers.
Geographic areas served: Phoenix and the Southeast Valley
Mission:
The Arizona Desert Dolphins are committed to creating an atmosphere where everyone is welcome,
regardless of age, ability or commitment level. Striving to open the eyes of young athletes so that
they see a higher potential in themselves than they may have previously thought. Our goal is to
inspire them to see the greatness of Synchronized Swimming, not just as a sport, but as a vehicle for
teaching powerful lessons and important qualities that will apply to many other aspects of their lives.
Synchronized swimming can give athletes the confidence to set goals, as well as the confidence to
work hard to attain those goals, whatever those goals may be, and whether those goals be in Synchro,
or not. Achieving these goals is not always easy. Each of us — athlete, parent and coach has a
different role to play in achieving these goals. By achieving their goals, the athletes will be winners
for the rest of their lives.
